MINUTES OF THE MARCH 15, 2000
BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
MOORINGS CLUSTER

The meeting was called to order by Karen Compton at 7:45 PM at the home of Sigrid Jackman. In attendance were: Karen Compton, Pat Lenz, Ron Taylor, Eveline Marquardt, Michael Kelly, Carol Matthews, Joel Anne Lambert, and Sigrid Jackman. Mary Buff was unable to make the meeting. Pat Lenz agreed to take the meeting notes in Mary's place.
Ron Taylor received a questionnaire from AAA Trash on their performance. A discussion followed on how to get a cheaper rate from them.
Ron passed out the Proposed Budget for 2000. A discussion followed and it was decided to eliminate the line of $1000 for tree trimming.
Michael Kelly reported that he has asked several companies for a quote for repairing the sidewalks. So far, he has received only one and is waiting for others to do a comparison.
Carol Matthews moved that dues be raised $30 to cover the increased cost of trash removal and grounds keeping. Joel Anne Lambert seconded and the motion was passed unanimously.
Carol Matthews reported that the tot lot has some safety issues. She recommended that we replace the duck and the steps to the slide, since both are unsafe. The estimated cost for both replacements is $1200. Eveline Marquardt moved that we remove and replace the duck and the slide steps. This was seconded by Sigrid Jackman and unanimously approved.
Karen Compton adjourned the meeting at 9:20 PM.
